Philosophical aspect of intellectual culture

In the article an attempt of revealing the concept of intellectual culture is analysed. The intellectual culture is defined as an important part of the general culture, the important factor in a life of society. The attention is especially focused on the development of representations about concept "intelligence" in the history of philosophical thought. It allows to define an essence of intellectual culture.
