The article deals with the history and development of the dialogue phenomenon in different eras. Existing issues in the study of dialogue are analyzed in the context of philosophical and cultural sciences. Based on the philosophical and cultural analysis, the author highlights the main forms typical for the dialogue phenomenon in each historical epoch.
