Financial literacy of the population is a necessary part of education of the XXI century

The article deals with the problem of low financial literacy of the population of the Russian Federation and the impact of this phenomenon on the economic situation of the country, thereby causing the need to improve financial literacy. The article analyzes the level of financial literacy of Russians in comparison with other countries, as well as in the context of age groups. The effectiveness of the state strategy for improving literacy is assessed, as well as ways to improve it in certain regions.
