Financial stability of the region in the conditions of a new reality on the example of the Krasnodar region

In the new conditions the answer to the question of the sustainability of regional finances is becoming especially relevant. The role of the scientific approach in solving urgent problems of increasing the competitiveness and financial stability of regions is growing sharply, which is justified by the importance of a systematic approach to the development of the country’s economy. In this regard, it is important to improve the methodological tools for studying the problems of financial stability of regions, which sets new tasks in increasing the competitiveness of Russian regions in order to overcome the unevenness of their development and create development mechanisms. As a result of the study and comparative analysis of the financial stability of the Krasnodar Territory, the Stavropol Territory and the Rostov Region, as the most significant regions of the south of Russia, the main trends in the development of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation have been identified, problems and opportunities for the growth of financial stability have been identified.
