The article is devoted to the consideration of financial planning as the main element of financial management at the level of economic entities in modern conditions. The main models and methods of financial planning are considered. Established key goals and objectives of financial planning and describes the main characteristics. As a result, it was concluded that it is necessary to draw up and implement financial plans to achieve the strategic goals of an economic agent.
