In different phytogeographical subzones of Ukraine’s forest-steppe, variety of plant pathogens of the genus Rosa L. ornamental shrubs is represented by 15 species of 10 genera, 9 families, 7 orders of magnitude, 3 departments. The leading position is taken by the Ascomycota division, which is represented by 12 species (80% of the total amount), 8 genera (80%), 7 families (78%), and 5 orders (72%). Oomycota and Basidiomycota departments are represented with 1 and 2 species respectively. In the Ukraine’s forest-steppe environment, over the years of research, the most common disease among different representatives of the genus Rosa L. is Diplocarpon rosae FA Wolf, about 52.7%. Diseases caused by Sphaerotheca pannosa var. rosae Woron account for 28.3%: Coniothyrium wernsdorffiae Laubert―19.2%; Botrytis cinerea Pers.―16.9%; Phragmidium mucronatum (Pers.) Schltdl., Phragmidium tuberculatum Müll. Hal., Nectria cinnabarina (Tode) Fr.―from 7.2 to 6.7%. Pathogens Alternaria alternata (Fr.) Keissl., Alternaria tenuissima (Kunze) Wiltshire, Fusarium oxysporum Schltdl., Fusarium solani (Mart.) Sacc., Phytophthora cactorum J. Schröt., Verticillium dahliae Kleb., Verticillium albo-atrum Reinke Berthold are less common―5%.
