Phytoplankton of western substeppe lakes of Astrakhan oblast in summer season of 2011

Current article contains August 2011 studies of phytoplankton in the Western substeppe lakes of Astrakhan region. It has 223 algae taxa below the rank of genus. This is mainly Chlorophyta, Cyanophyta and Bacillariophyta. Ecologically and geographically dominators are species of planktonic organisms-cosmopolitans, species indifferent in relation to salinity, alkalifilic organisms and species indifferent in relation to the pH.
