Physical culture and sport as a factor in the prevention of deviant behavior in youth

This article discusses problematic issues of prevention of deviant behavior of students. The analysis of the analytical review of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia "On the state of work on the organization of employment of minors who are on preventive registration in law enforcement agencies, including in specialized shifts." The factors contributing to the reduction of school delinquency have been identified and the role of physical culture and sports in this process has been determined. In the course of our research, we identified the main provisions that make it possible to make the work on preventing and overcoming deviant behavior of young people through physical education and sports more effective.
