The physical component of the personal safety of a police officer in the performance of official activities

This article discusses the importance of developing the physical training of employees of the internal affairs bodies of the Russian Federation in the performance of their official activities, which are at risk and require appropriate protection and security. The author reveals the current trend in the direction of employees' activities in office and off - duty hours, to increase the level of security of law enforcement officers of the Russian Federation. Attention is also focused on the importance of physical development for the use of physical force in the form of fighting techniques or other methods of restricting the movement of a person and his detention, special means or firearms to protect the employee or citizens. In addition to this, the article emphasized the importance of a normal legal framework in ensuring the personal safety of an employee.
