The problem of increasing the physical training efficiency by using various additional means is very important. These means can have a positive impact on athletes’ functional state. The paper presents the results of the research highlighting the impact on an athlete’s respiratory system by using the breathing simulator “Samozdrav”. Additional training exercises with the simulator contribute to increasing the respiratory muscles functionality, improving the regulatory systems, and gaining faster rehabilitation.
