Floristic records in the mires of the Volga upland

The article provides information on the finds of rare species (listed in the regional Red Books) on the Volga Upland - Ulyanovsk, Penza, Saratov regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, Chuvash Republic. Studies were conducted in the swamps and adjacent areas. Most of the finds in the Penza and Ulyanovsk regions, Chuvash Republic are made on sphagnum transitional mire and bogs, in the Saratov region and in Tatarstan on lowlands. In total, 60 new locations of 22 species were found on 31 mires: Andromeda polifolia , Carex limosa , Chamaedaphne calyculata , Cicuta virosa , Comarum palustre , Drosera rotundifolia , Eriophorum angustifolium , Hammarbya paludosa , Galium trifidum , Gentiana pneumonanthe , Geranium palustre , Lysimachia thyrsiflora , Matteuccia struthiopteris , Oxycoccus palustris , Potamogeton gramineus , Rhynchospora alba , Rubus nessensis , Salix lapponum , Salix rosmarinifolia , Scheuchzeria palustris , Sparganium natans , Utricularia minor. Especially a lot of finds were made on the developed transitional mires in the Penza and Ulyanovsk regions.
