Folklore expeditions of the philological faculty of Tver State University in the first half of the 1990s

At present the philological faculty of Tver State University is conducting active field works collecting and studying folklore and dialects of the Tver region. However, until now there has been no work which would generalize these researches. The article describes the results of the folklore-ethnographic expeditions conducted in the region in the first half of the 1990s. Most of the texts that are given as examples, are published here for the first time.
