The Zayed fund for entrepreneurship and innovation as a lever of enhancement of entrepreneurial activity in the Chechen Republic

This article reviews and analyzes the activities of the Sheikh Zayed Foundation for the Support of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, as one of the financial institutions operating in the republic with the support of the Head of the region R.A. Kadyrov on the development of entrepreneurial activity in the regional market. The development of small and medium-sized businesses is one of the priority tasks set by the government of the Chechen Republic. Creation of conditions for the growth of business activity of the residents of the republic, assistance to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, the realization of the potential of entrepreneurs are important factors in the sustainable social and economic development of the republic. The main goal of the Fund is to become a key element of the system of promoting entrepreneurship in order to achieve a sustainable socio-economic effect in the Chechen Republic by providing targeted support to small and medium-sized businesses. Thus, the development of entrepreneurship in the Chechen Republic is a priority for the government, since it is precisely due to this that it is possible to create jobs and reduce unemployment, increase the quantity and quality of locally produced goods, raise the level of the service sector and reduce subsidized dependence on the “center”. The Chechen Republic has all the necessary potential for the development of entrepreneurship and successful socio-economic growth.
