The form of state-territorial structure in Russia: historical aspect

Federation as a form of the country’s territorial structure appeared in our history in the twentieth century. The federal structure of the Soviet Union had its own characteristics. Many of the nuances of the modern federal structure are the legacy of Soviet history. Only taking into account the historical experience of the past, it is possible to develop modern federal relations, solve problems, create a future state structure.
