Formation of analytical sustainability and state of potato production in the Orel region

The need for analysis of agricultural production and forecasting its level for the future is the basis for increasing the functioning efficiency of the entire agricultural sector of the Russian Federation. Its sustainable development is of paramount importance for the country's economy to overcome the crisis. These circumstances emphasize the relevance of this issue. One of the most important agricultural products in Russia, which determines the level of development of the entire agricultural sector, is potato production. Of particular importance are studies of the issues of sustainability of potato production, especially in areas of predominant concentration with high production and economic indicators and the presence of natural resource potential. In this regard, the formation of analytical support for the level of sustainability of potato production, the study of the influence of factors on the stability of production and the preparation of forecast options for potato productivity is relevant. In theoretical terms, sustainability should ensure a steady in-crease in agricultural production in the volumes necessary to meet the needs of society. In reality, this is not always feasible due to deviations in weather conditions, as well as irrational use of the resource potential, violation of agricultural cultivation technologies. Increase in stability of production has important economic and political value since agriculture is a basis for efficiency growth functioning of all agro-industrial complex of the country and forms the basis of the Russian economy. As agriculture, produces essential goods, its sustainable development has paramount value in ensuring food security of the state. In the agrarian sphere of production the special relevance is acquired by a problem of overcoming consequences of outputs recession, transition to steady growth rates, expanded reproduction.
