Development of English nation as a result of cultural integration

The article touches upon the culture of Great Britain. Special attention is paid to the Celtic period, Roman conquest of the British Islands, invasion of Germanic tribes and Vikings, Norman Conquest. The authors consider the processes, which took place in the culture and the linguistic culture of the country in the interaction with the culture of the conquerors.
