The article discusses the historical stages of countering corruption crimes. The causes and conditions of this socio-negative phenomenon are determined. Regulatory legal acts in preventing and minimizing corruption are analyzed. Special attention is paid to prevention measures and the formation of an anti-corruption standard of behavior for an employee of internal affairs bodies.
