The formation of values of students with a physical condition in modern school

Problem and purpose. The article is devoted to the problem of formation of values of schoolchildren with a physical condition in modern school. The purpose of the article is to present an analysis of the results of the study of values of schoolchildren with scoliosis and students with hearing impairment. The article presents a review of literature on the problem of personality formation: philosophical, psychological, pedagogical aspects, as well as literature on the problem of teaching and educating schoolchildren with hearing impairment and with scoliosis. The methodological basis of the study was the works of A.M. Gendin, his work on the individual as a subject of value assimilation of reality; the works of D.A. Leont,ev saying that values are reflected in the semantic sphere of the individual and reveal the acceptance and internalization of the social values by the individual; the works of V.V. Nikolaeva, who writes that any chronic disease is built into the system of the sense sphere of the personality and has a significant influence on the attitude of the personality to the surrounding reality. The basis for the choice of research methods was the understanding of the structure of values as a combination of cognitive, emotional-evaluative and behavioral components that are realized through knowledge and understanding of the essence of values, emotional attitude towards them, readiness for their implementation in behavior and activities. We used the methodology “The System of Values” by M. Rokiж, adapted by V. Yadov, the method “Complex study of self-esteem and values”, modified by I.P. Shakhova (authors O.I. Motkov, T.A. Ogneva), the method of expert evaluations of teachers, the method of unfinished sentences, the questionnaire “Determining values of high school students” (M.I. Lukyanova, N.V. Kalinina). In conclusion, the article presents the analysis of the results of the study. Results. A comparative analysis of the orientation of values of students with a physical condition and schoolchildren who do not have chronic diseases is presented. The obtained data confirm the hypothesis that the value of health that is dominant in the system of values of schoolchildren with a physical condition is perceived by them as meaningful, which determines the further direction of behavior and activity. Conclusion. Due to the urgency and practical importance of the problem, it is necessary to identify and scientifically substantiate the approaches that contribute to the formation of values of schoolchildren with a physical condition in modern educational practice. The author,s contribution consists in the theoretical analysis of scientific literature, the definition and justification of research methods, processing and analysis of data on the formedness of values of schoolchildren with hearing impairment and suffering from scoliosis.
