Value orientations of students with somatic disorders are discussed, and approaches to their formation in theoretical and applied pedagogy are described. The authors focus on the tendencies in value orientations among senior high school students who suffer from scoliosis, looking for ways to facilitate their self-development. The results of empirical organizational-pedagogical work aimed at the formation of value orientations in such students are analyzed, and prospects for further research are outlined.
