Formation of a single digital information space as an actual scientific and practical task: the USA national digital platform's experience

The article is devoted to a question of merging of the museums, libraries and archives into one digital information space on the example of the National digital platform of the USA. Emergence prerequisites are considered, examples of ready-made products of participants of the platform are given, the mechanism of development of the software product and further development plans are considered.
