The formation of geometric concepts in children of preschool age by means of mathematical fairy tales

The article reveals the features of the formation of geometric representations in preschool children by means of mathematical fairy tales. A mathematical fairy tale or a fairy tale with mathematical content is a fairy tale, the characters of which can be figures, geometric figures, as well as heroes of ordinary fairy tales, animals, magical entities and just people. The plot of such a fairy tale introduces a variety of mathematical ideas about the magnitude, shape, time, quantity, as well as the ratio of quantities, rules, etc.
