Professional activity in modern conditions determines the range of developed practical skills, applied skills and professionally important qualities. The pedagogical content of interdisciplinary sciences at universities should be focused on the formation of readiness of future specialists for professional activity. For this purpose, the article describes the characteristics of the basic physical qualities, acting as professionally important for undergraduate engineers in the major Forest management, provides the means, forms and methods of physical training and applied sports, which contribute to their development and improvement.
