Formation of group crime in the economic segment in the 40s of the XX century

The article deals with the peculiarities of the formation of crimes committed in a group way in the Soviet Union. More detailed consideration was given to the economic segment, as it was the forerunner of group and organized crime, since the time of the Great Patriotic War. The features of the criminal legislation regulating the issues of liability of accomplices for the commission of group crimes are considered. The article analyzes the influence of wartime specifics on the formation of group and organized crime in the USSR. The reasons for the appearance of organized criminal groups, such as gangs, gangs in the second half of the 40s of the XX century are considered. Forms and methods of counteraction to crimes committed by accomplices of organized criminal groups are considered, the characteristic of the main directions of fight against such criminal acts is offered.
