We report on the fabrication of metallodielectric photonic crystals by means of interference lithogra-phy and subsequent coating by the gold nanolayer by the use of magnetron deposition. The polymer grat-ing is realized in a SU-8 photoresist using a He-Cd laser of wavelength 442 nm. A reflection spectrum from three-dimensional metallodielectric photonic crystals is investigated. The occurrence of the photonic band gap with the center on wavelength 2.6-2.8 microns on the basis of spectroscopy data is shown.
