Organizing students educational activity and peculiarities of its motivation

Transition to technologies providing the increase of motivation of effective educational activity in higher educational institutions through training, connecting theoretical knowledge with practical needs has been the prime pedagogical problem. Research issues connected with this problem are: to estimate dynamics of changing motivation in the period of studying at a higher educational institution, to define the essence of the motivation which reliably provides the increase of the progress of persons being trained, to find out the importance of a method of contextual training aimed at the increase of motivation of the efficiency of educational activity. Methods of the research done are: interrogation, natural pedagogical experiment, crosssection cuts method. Students of the 1st-3rd rates of SSUT and RA were the object of the investigation. The reference to the method of contextual training promotes the development in students their feeling "I can" and its transformation from one subject to another. As a result, the accent of the responsibility for training is displaced from the teacher to students. This method makes it possible to stimulate steady motivation of the educational process being naturally one of the main reasons of increased academic progress.
