Actual problems of social and labor relations are considered: a description of the reasons for their appearance and new trends, the main directions of the development of social and labor relations in Russia. The general characteristics of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara Region are revealed, the analysis of the organizational structure, personnel structure and personnel policy of this organization is carried out. Conducted research on the effectiveness of prevention and prevention of occupational stress on the basis of a study of the conflict situation through a survey and analysis of the information received and the use of the cartographic method. Recommendations for improving the system of preventing undesirable conflicts and stresses in the Ministry of Education and Science of the Samara region are defined: management and monitoring of social tensions, the main directions of prevention of occupational stress, analysis of personnel risks affecting the implementation of the system of prevention of occupational stress and socio-economic effectiveness of the system of prevention of professional stress.
