Formation of the information and communication space in the Russian empire

The article discusses questions of the Russian information and communication space development in the context of the historical evolution of the Russian statehood. The author considers special features of the processes from the perspective of the civilization paradigm, describes information processes and communication space at the beginning of the Russian Empire formation (the 18 th century).
