In this work, studies have been conducted to study the nodule-forming ability of samples of common beans. The varieties that have formed the largest number of nodules that have retained high symbiotic activity until the end of the vegetation period of plants are identified - this is Omsk Jubilee, Local form 2, Bead. The dependence of yield on the degree of infection of the plant with a strain of active bacteria Rhizobium phaseoli was revealed. The higher the symbiotic activity of the plant, the more productive it is.
