Development of tapestry restoration methods in Western European counries in the 15th-18th centuries

Tapestries, or decorative woven carpets, occupy a special place in the history of Western European decorative art. By the end of the 15th - the beginning of the 16th century, tapestries had occupied an important role in the system of interior decoration, fulfilling both decorative and purely utilitarian functions.
