Formation of moral values and motivation for social activity as a factor of socialization in the educational space of classical university in the modern Russian society

The article considers the urgent scientific problem - the formation of students' moral values and motivation for social activity. These elements are examined as a factor of person's socialization in the educational space of a classical university in the modern Russian society. The author defines the main principles according to which the moral values should be developed. It is noted, that education in the domestic higher schools is determined by national specificity, mentality and values typical for Russian people.
