Formation of the educational environment in the digital economy

The purpose of this study is to assess the readiness of Russian higher education to transition to the digital level of educational and methodological activities. The transition to the digital economy has become essential for the development of Russian education, affecting all levels. Digitalization of education becomes the next step in technological development after informatization, accordingly, it is necessary to assess at what stage of informatization higher education is currently at. The task of ensuring the quality of digital education is actualized and the ways of actual scientific research are outlined. China’s experience in digitalizing education in the digital economy is analyzed. Based on the analysis of the literature, a scheme for the interaction of education and the digital economy is presented, the main trends and vectors of development are determined.
