Development of patriotism and historical identity of youth in the Udmurt Republic at the turn of the 21st century

The article reveals the most effective forms and methods of patriotic education of the young people in different regions of the Russian Federation. The author reviews the experience of the regional authorities for youth affairs regarding the patriotic education in the Udmurt Republic. In particular, the undertaken historical research identifies the key challenges the higher vocational institutions face when shaping the historical identity of the youth.
