Soils formation on dump breeds of Rettikhovskiy and Lipovetskiy coal fields in Primotye

The soils of technogenic landscapes which are forming on self-growing dump breeds of coal fields in Primorsky Krai are investigated. Depending on development of vegetation and features of dumps relief, there was revealed four types of embryosoils: initial, organo-accumulative, cespitose and humic-accumulative. Optimum conditions for development the vegetation and humus formation are develop on gentle slopes of dumps and flat tops. On slopes of dumps with the steepness 10-15° embryosoils for a long time can stay at initial stage. Recommendations about dumps recultivation are provided.
