Formation of the political subjectivity of youth in modern Russia: criteria, conditions, problems

The paper deals with the main directions, achievements and problems of the formation of political subjectivity of modern Russian youth. The theoretical and methodological aspects of the study of political subjectivity and its main components are noted, as well as the conditions, ways and mechanism of formation. The close relationship of political participation and political subjectivity of youth is revealed, which makes it possible to identify the most significant features of political subjectivity of youth, which are manifested in the conventional forms of their political participation. The most relevant forms of political participation of young people are analyzed, in which their political subjectivity is manifested to a greater extent. The importance of civic education and various forms of political participation in the implementation of the political potential of Russian youth are shown. For its successful formation as a subject of socio-political processes, constructive cooperation of the state (implementation of effective state policy), civil society institutions, and members of youth are necessary.
