Formation of regional educational policy in the Republic of Tuva in 1991–2008

This article considers the formation of the educational policy in the Republic of Tuva in 1991–2008, identifies the stages, tendencies and features of its formation and development. The author analyses such state policy directions in the sphere of school education as the development of laws and regulations, the development of the national and regional component, the adoption of various republican programmes directed to improving the content and quality of education.
