The article considers approaches to the formation of an event management system at a tourist enterprise. The result of the research was formed a conceptual system for the construction and use of event management in the management of a tourist enterprise. It made it possible to identify all the constituent elements of the model, factors of influence and tools of event management, and also clearly demonstrated the features of building supporting structures and processes in the event management system at a tourist enterprise, which is a good information basis for further research. The system focused on event management technology. It is proved that the creation and application of event management at a tourist enterprise is based on the unity, consistency and universality of tools and methods of interaction. It is determined that a well-known tourist brand or another travel agency can hire an event management company. It was found out that companies providing services in the event industry are most often attracted due to their wide base of contacts, their experience and ability to ensure the continuity of the event without complications. It is established that the components of event management include tools, technological component, personnel, policies, rules and procedures, indicators and criteria for evaluating the event management of tourist enterprises that ensure their effective functioning.
