The article is devoted to the analysis of the formation of stress resistance as an integral component of modern firearms training for law enforcement and military specialists. It examines the complex impact of stress factors on cognitive functions, particularly on the processes of perception, processing and assessment of information under conditions of time pressure and high responsibility. The author substantiates the necessity of transitioning from traditional training methods focused on developing motor skills in stable environments to integrative methodologies that purposefully develop psychological resilience and decision-making accuracy under pressure. The work details the physiological and psychological mechanisms of information distortion under stress, such as "tunnel vision" and deterioration of working memory, and offers specific practical approaches to counteracting these phenomena. Special attention is paid to methods of modeling controlled stress, techniques of cognitive self-regulation, action algorithmization, and the development of group communicative reliability. It is concluded that the assessment of information reliability in an extreme situation is a key criterion of professional reliability, and its formation requires the systematic integration of psychological knowledge into the structure of firearms training.
