Development of tolerant interethnic and inter-confessional relations in the Jewish autonomous region in the process of collaboration between the authorities and the public associations

The article studies the practical experience of cooperation between the authorities and the public associations aimed at building tolerant interethnic and interconfessional relations in the Jewish Autonomous Region as an independent entity of the Russian Federation. The authors evaluate the measures taken by the authorities and the public associations within the period of 2010-2012 and make a conclusion about the huge role of culture in creating tolerant international and inter-confessional relations.
