Studied varieties of peas with different leaf form and stem growth: the Flagman 9 Flagman 12, Samarec, Samarius, Stepnyak, Flagman 10, Madonna, and Volzhanin. The studies were conducted in 2007-2017 years in Samara scientific research of agriculture. It is established that the yield of the varieties by years of greatly varied from 1.31 to 3.67 t/ha. Revealed that the yield fluctuations associated with the genotype of the variety and instability of weather conditions of the area where the research was conducted. Found that 66% of the variability of yields is associated with hydrothermal factors during the period “germination-flowering” and “budding filling”. High yields were observed in cultivars: Madonna (of 3.37 t/ha), Stepnyak (2.58 t/ha), Volzhanin (1.73 t/ha), the Flagman 12 (2,35 t/ha).
