Forms of eco-political violence

The article presents some results of the research on the correlation between the environmental degradation and the politics-based violence. The author reviews existing interpretations of the political violence types, considers spontaneous and unspontaneous manifestations of the eco-political violence, and shows specifics of riots, coup attempts and civil wars caused by the environmental degradation.
