Detection, disclosure and investigation of crimes within the criminal community is a multifaceted, hard work that requires significant time resources and involves overcoming serious problems related to the identification of all participants in the criminal formation and the crimes committed by them. When performing this function, all law enforcement units must act as a single system. In this regard, it is very important to study the issue of organizing the interaction of investigative bodies and operational search units. The author, based on the definition of “interaction” in forensic science, the division of its forms by scientists into procedural and non-procedural (organizational), justifies the special importance of non-procedural forms of joint work of law enforcement officers. Based on practical materials, the results of a survey of officials of the investigation and inquiry bodies, the author cites the most frequently used forms of interaction between the investigator and the operative worker associated with the complex use of forces and means for effective pre-trial proceedings in criminal cases.
