Forums of Russian youth. Managed youth development platforms

During the 2010s in Russia, the government organized a number of large-scale youth forums at various levels, attracting millions of participants. These forums have played an important role in establishing an active dialogue between the State and youth, acting as formal platforms for the inclusion of young people in public and political life. Despite pre-defined topics and tasks, forum organizers often listened to the opinions and preferences of young people, adjusting the format and content of events to their interests. The analysis of official reports, media publications, as well as research results and interviews emphasizes the significance of youth forums as an effective tool of state youth policy in the modern political environment. These forums have become not only platforms for discussing topical issues, but also catalysts for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of long-term contacts between young people and government entities.
