Бесплатный доступ

Photodynamic therapy, used primarily for the treatment of malignant neoplasms of various localization, is an innovative method based on a photochemical reaction. This method has significant potential in the treatment of breast tumors in carnivorous animals, representing an alternative or addition to traditional methods such as surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy. PDT can be used as an independent treatment method, especially in cases where other therapies are contraindicated or ineffective. In this regard, the subject of this study is the search and development of new, more effective means and methods necessary for the treatment and prevention of malignant breast tumors in small domestic animals, with a special focus on exploring the potential and possibilities of photodynamic therapy.
