Photoprotection method of measuring three dimensional objects

We propose a new technique of measuring geometric parameters of a complex-shaped item, significant for both aerospace and heavy engineering industry. The mathematical model of photoprotection measuring method is developed. The research shows the relationship between deformation of the projected coordinate system on the photographic image and 3D shape of an item. Measurements are considered relative to a fixed mark of laser rangefinder. The method of object digital image (the “cloud” of points) creation is described by using only rays of the projector external coordinate system on the flat digital image of a photo matrix.
