In article results of research of effect of increase of wear resistance of a surface of composite materials WC - (Fe-Mn-C), with the struc-turally-unstable binder, tested for a friction in the range of sliding speeds of 1-37 m/s are presented. Formation on a surface the fragmen-tation structures promotes self-lubricating effect of WC - (Fe-Mn-C) composites at high speeds of sliding.
