The article deals with topical issues of legal regulation of relations in the field of franchising at the international and national levels. A comparison of approaches to determining the essence of a franchise agreement in the legislation of different countries is carried out. The author examines the peculiarities in the field of legal regulation and application of commercial concession in the Russian Federation, as well as the prospects for its development.
