The article analyzes franchising as a tool for the development of enterprises in the service sector, considered the strategy of its implementation, highlighted the advantages of this format of business. A brief overview of the features of business organization in certain sectors of the service sector on the basis of franchising. The efficiency of using franchising in conditions of lack of financing of fixed and working capital of companies in Russia both for the franchising company and for the acquirers of the franchise is proved.
