Frantishek Winkler and his art in the history of Vladivostok

The article offers a brief biography of Frantishek (Vladimir Frantsevich) Winkler (1884–1956), a Czech sculptor and muralist. The authors identify four periods in his creative work: Prague, Omsk, Vladivostok and Harbin period. The main emphasis is made on Vladivostok period because the artist came to this city with Czechoslovak Corps and stayed here from 1918 to 1928.
