Functions and models of the mechanism of economic regulation of vine and wine

This article focuses on the organization, structure and institutional characteristics of the wine industry in Azerbaijan, as well as how local grape producers, wine producers, distributors, retailers and consumers interact and behave in the country’s wine market. Economic regulation plays an important role in the general system of regulation of viticulture and winemaking. This situation is manifested primarily in the characteristics of the functional structure of the means of economic regulation. As in all other systems, the functions of economic instruments in the regulation of viticulture and winemaking are deterministic for the respective purposes. To explain the economic organization of wine production and consumption, as well as the behavior of American wine firms and consumers, a set of basic economic concepts and principles must be applied. Given that the development goals of the industry are determined in accordance with the specific period and conditions in each country, there is a need to formulate the above functions for scientific analysis in general. From this point of view, based on the analysis of the place and role of economic regulation, it is possible to single out its auxiliary, stimulating and regulatory functions.
