The functions of the prosecutor in criminal proceedings

The article analyzes the concept of «functions of attorney» in the legal field in General and in relation to the criminal process in particular. A function is defined as a role of an entity in a particular sphere of activity. In addition, the functions of the Prosecutor are divided divided into those which it implements in pre-trial stages of criminal proceedings, which primarily include the supervision organs of investigation and inquiry, and to those the implementation of which is possible only in the trial stage of criminal proceedings.
